Vegetable kimchi sauce, 100g large package, used for 2-3kg of vegetables
- 📌Step 1: Prepare ingredients:
- - Main ingredients: Chinese cabbage, 1 carrot, 1 onion, green onions and chives
- - Spices: complete kimchi salt seasoning package
- 📌Step 2: Pre-processing:
- - Wash carrots, onions, green onions and chives, peel and drain, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
- - Remove any leaves that are wilted or bruised on the cabbage's surface and wash the surface.
- - Drain the pre-processed ingredients and be ready to mix with the seasoning package to make kimchi
- 📌Step 3: Salt the cabbage
- - Cut the cabbage into quarters then rub salt into each leaf, from outside to inside, from top to bottom.
- - Then put it in a bowl and pour water to cover the cabbage.
- - Soak cabbage in salt water for 2-4 hours to soften and soften the leaves, then rinse 4-5 times with water to remove the salty taste.
- 📌Step 4: Marinate with spices
- - Put all the cabbage and other prepared ingredients into the bowl.
- - Then add the complete kimchi salt seasoning package
- - Use plastic gloves to mix the ingredients evenly to absorb the spices.
- 📌Step 5: Put in a jar and preserve:
- - Put the marinated kimchi in a sealed jar and leave it at room temperature for 3-4 hours so that the kimchi can ferment until the sour taste is just right.
- - Then store in the refrigerator.
- - When you need to use it, just take a separate, bite-sized portion. Kimchi stored well can be used for 1 month.
